Chestnut Chocolate Dessert recipe

Ingredients:

15 ½ oz (1 can) of whole chestnuts.
½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder.
½ cup of confectioners sugar.
2 ½ tablespoons of dark rum.
¼ cup of unwhipped heavy cream.
¾ cup of whipped heavy cream.

Directions:

Drain the chestnuts and rinse under cold water, then dry.

Place the chestnuts with the cocoa powder, sugar, rum and unwhipped heavy cream in a food processor.

Purée, scrape down sides and process until chestnuts are puréed.

Whip cream, fold into purée and chill until time to serve.
